This is one of Smith Rock's many features. For our spring break my family and I drove 6 and a half hours to Bend Oregon. There we saw a spiky Western fence lizard about twelve in. long! We stayed in a hotel which had a pool and two hot tubs. April third 08 was the hottest days we were there so hot I got sun burned!

That must have been a really fun spring break. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is nice to have a change from school work and also great to get out and enjoy God's great creation. Love, Grandma Marge
